Hotel Group Unlocks Important Trends with Cloud5 BI
With 68 select service hotels throughout the US that included four different brands and several independent hotels, the management company had many challenges with getting accurate and timely operational information. The different owners of the hotels in their portfolio also had needs for operational metrics, with variations that required the management company to layer significant reporting duties on sales and service personnel. Much of the data gathering relied on manual reports submitted by the GMs and Regional Directors, but had gaps and inconsistencies due to the disparate systems the hotels utilized and the largely manual nature of how they collected and reported the data. In many cases, the systems in place had no reporting capabilities or limitations that could not be overcome without costly upgrades or custom programming.
